I am on a roll today. Design for fun.
Little known fact: Between the years 2006 and 2009, I started out as an assistant inker to professional inker Nathan Massengill in my career. It was under him that I learned some of the best inking techniques that I know. As his assistant, I would help ink backgrounds, props, costumes (I hate Spiderman because of this), and sometimes background characters that didn’t matter if I screwed up or not.
Unfortunately, I do not have access the the pages, so these were the only examples I could find. The very first one is a splash page from Dark Horse’s “Indiana Jones: Tomb of the Gods” that I did completely by myself. It took 2 days to ink and is the work I am most proud of.
Some of the artists I have done inks on are Steve Scott, Sanford Greene, and Dale Eaglesham. I have been known to provide assistance to Karl Story on backgrounds and have done fill blacks for awesome pros like Brian Stelfreeze, Cully Hamner, Tony Shasteen, and Dexter Vines.
All of this information can be verified with any of the artists listed above should anyone doubt my credibility.

These are samples of pages I colored for 12 Gauge’s ICE backup stories. This is my most proudest moment in my professional career as it was my very first professional credit under my name, but more importantly, I got to work with 2 of greatest friends in my life, Brian Stelfreeze and Doug Wagner.
It was an honor to work on this book. I can’t wait for future projects with them again!Please note that these pages are not in order nor is it the entire story.
